"I am so very happy with this temperature probe, it seems to be quite accurate give or take a degree. I’ve tested it using ice and boiling jam, both times I used this digital probe and a dial probe, and as I stated give or take a degree they both gave the same reading. Now why use this probe when I have a dial one already, first of the probe length is longer and it’s more robust than the dial, with the dial you need to be so careful not to damage the plastic screen, one drop could potentially break the dial. The next reason, this does both heat and cold temperature, whereas the dial only does heat. I also like the bonus of the probe keeping a reading of max-min temperature too."
