Have you ever cut into a turkey or a roast to see if it has finished cooking or treated yourself to a steak only to have it come off the grill overcooked and dry? Your food might look like it’s cooked or even cut easily with a sharp knife but how could you check if your food is cooked properly..?
With today’s deal from Electrical Discounts Direct, take the guesswork out of cooking with a digital food thermometer with a stainless steel probe and LCD display readout for only £9 – with a saving of 54% off the usual price of £19.99 this is but a small price to pay to ensure your food is thoroughly cooked..
Cooking thermometers measure the internal temperature of your water, cooked meat, poultry, homemade breads and casseroles, to assure that a safe temperature has been reached. "My Son-in-law thinks it’s fantastic. The digital readout is very clear and accurate and does exactly what it is meant to do, e.g. record the internal heat."
"Bought this for using in my home as i provide food as a child-minder, was pleased with the size as not too bulky to store and its nice and easy to use, pleased with the price and the product x."
"Good inexpensive and accurate thermometer, used it on several occasions, simple to use."
"This is a must for any home cook who needs to know when their Goose is cooked, or Turkey in my case. Small & neat but long enough to penetrate right into the heart of a 20lb Deep Fried Turkey. No need to read directly as there is a hold button that stores the temperature so you can insert it just about anywhere at any angle & still see how hot or cold your bird is. Comes in a handy hard plastic tube that protects the probe from damage in the kitchen drawer or if transporting for BBQs or outdoors. Fab device & can’t see how we got along without it for so long. A great companion for those who like their Turkey Fried & not Dried…!!!"
"Superb!! The thermometer is also excellent, i am very pleased with it and all i can say is brilliant."
"I rec’d this thermometer one day after placing order. It was exactly as described and was well packaged. I tested thermometer with hot/cold water and rec’d quick readings."
"I am so very happy with this temperature probe, it seems to be quite accurate give or take a degree. I’ve tested it using ice and boiling jam, both times I used this digital probe and a dial probe, and as I stated give or take a degree they both gave the same reading. Now why use this probe when I have a dial one already, first of the probe length is longer and it’s more robust than the dial, with the dial you need to be so careful not to damage the plastic screen, one drop could potentially break the dial. The next reason, this does both heat and cold temperature, whereas the dial only does heat. I also like the bonus of the probe keeping a reading of max-min temperature too."
